NAHCNational Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC)
The National Association for Home Care & Hospice (NAHC) is the nation's largest trade association representing home health agencies, hospices, home care aide organizations, and medical equipment suppliers. NAHC addresses the interests and concerns of home health agencies through educational programming, promotion of professional development and quality of care initiatives, and lobbying activities. NAHC views its partnership with the CHAMP program as an important step toward fulfilling its role in the home health community.

Since 1965, CHAP has established Standards of Excellence for community based care providers.  Accreditation services today include home health, hospice, home medical equipment, private duty, infusion nursing, pharmacy, public health, community nursing centers and supplemental staffing. CHAP’s voluntary accreditation program provides direction and support to providers who wish to meet more than the minimum standards for service provision. CHAP is also authorized by CMS through its deeming authority to provide Medicare surveys for home health, hospice and DMEPOS organizations. CHAP’s consultative approach to the site visit process is geared at creating a learning environment in which performance improvement flourishes.

Minnesota HomeCare Association (MHCA) represents approximately 250 home care agency members who provide hands-on care to Minnesota residents in their homes. MHCA includes in its membership all types of agencies: county public health nursing services, hospital and nursing home-based programs, proprietary, and private non-profit.
